I’ve had the good fortune to try cheesesteaks all over the country, and this place ranks in the middle. I got a hoagie, the meat could use some more seasoning, and the peppers were quite mild. BUT the service was stellar, and very quick. Clearly a local staple, I’d go back.

Cool little neighborhood spot in the lower Haight. Cheesstakes, burgers, and chilli dogs are the standouts here. Metro is a small cafe like eatery catered by Omar who's family ran a corner store on Fillmore. Stop by and say hello and grab some good grub!

Great spot for cheesesteak sandwiches and burgers. Had chicken Chee steak with mushrooms and fries. Service is extra friendly and very efficient. Definitely would recommend to others and return again in the future. It’s like going back home to Pennsylvania without leaving town 🙂
